The company provides horticultural expertise through a variety of Interior Plantscaping services to a wide variety of commercial, institutional and upscale residential markets within the Dallas/Fort. Worth areas of Texas.

Management:
Clive Bulmer, President and Founder.
Clive was born and educated in England were he gained extensive experience in Horticulture, Arboriculture, Botany and Conservation.

He was awarded the National diploma in Horticulture (Inter.) from The Royal Horticultural Society and the Kew Diploma in Horticulture from the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, near London. Prior to his graduation from Kew, The Bentham-Moxon Trust awarded Clive a post-graduate traveling scholarship for environmental research throughout the Hawaiian Islands. The theme of his studies included endemic flora and endangered species, ecosystems, conservation, feral animal control and habitat destruction, from sea level to nearly 14,000 feet elevation. This research project extended over a six-month period. Mr. Bulmer also holds a certificate in Arboriculture and Tree Surgery from the Royal Forestry Society of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as certificates in Nursery Practices and Ornamental Horticulture. He is a Certified Master Gardener on Merseyside, England, as well as the proud recipient of bronze medals awarded in recognition for his leading national position in horticulture by the City and Guilds of London Institute.

Mr. Bulmer’s work experience includes horticultural crop production, parks and recreation development and maintenance, woodland management and landscaping of commercial and residential properties in England and the United States. Prior to founding Botany 2000, Mr. Bulmer served on the staff as Horticultural Technician at Merrist Wood College for land-based industries in Surrey, England and later managed the Interior Plantscape Department of a large Dallas landscape company. Mr. Bulmer has made guest appearances on radio and television in Dallas and Honolulu.

Responding to his collective experiences in the plant kingdom and his vision of a world whose natural wonders will be available for future generations; Mr. Bulmer founded Families for the Rainforest, a 501 [c] [3] non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the earth’s tropical rainforests. This volunteer organization develops and promotes creative and interactive educational programs for children and young adults. Families for the Rainforest also sponsors and collaborates with other organizations undertaking similar work. Mr. Bulmer is President of this organization.
